“Csángó Flower” bow-tie blouse, long-sleeved, white

There is a Hungarian community of a few hundred thousand people living in Moldova, beyond the Carpathians, called Csángó Hungarians who still speak the pure, ancient Hungarian language a thousand years later. In their honour our most beautiful (in my biased opinion) piece was born: the Csángó bow-tie blouse.

I personally designed it and drew its pattern freehand, based on ancient forms. For months, I studied and observed Csángó attires and ornamentations before I picked up a pencil. This is my most beloved Folkflower garment, please accept it with love, as it was born from a pure heart.

The blouse is made from ECO-TEX Standard 100 certified cotton fabric. The neckline and sleeves are gathered with elastic thread, and the neckline can be tied with a silk ribbon. It has a slightly fitted shape, and the neckline, sleeve edges, and hem are delicately frilled with red thread. The decoration is a freehand drawing by Folkflower, featuring an archaic Csángó motif. The original Csángó colour palette has been preserved, extending along the sleeves as well.

The detailed stitching is made with colourfast silk thread, machine washable.
