“Caucasus” overcoat, black

We based this pattern on the cut of ancient Central Asian shirts. Nowadays, similar garments are only worn by the Scythian remnant populations living around the Caucasus. Made from natural linen, it is a skin-friendly product. Featuring a standing collar, straight cut, side fastening with metal decorative buttons, loose sleeves, and wide cuffs, it is a distinctly masculine garment.

The decoration on the back, the griffin embroidery, emerged once again from unfathomable distances and the mists of time, as always when it is needed. Its resemblance to certain archaeological finds is no coincidence. The Tree of Life pattern running along the front and cuffs was hand-stamped onto the fabric with gold paint, then baked at high temperatures for durability.

Our past obliges us, our roots speak and sprout new shoots. The time has come.
