“Csángó Flower péntős rokolla” skirt with petticoat

I fell in love with the Csángó people. Especially those from the Hétfalu region. I feel they are perhaps the ones who have best preserved the ancient lines of our traditional clothing over the centuries. Whenever I see Csángó attire or accessories from that region, I immediately get goosebumps: dizzying depths and distances open up before me through the swirls of time. The past sends a message…

After spending two years on design, our most special piece was born: the “péntős rokolla” – skirt with petticoat. Made from linen fabric that is pleasant to the touch and drapes beautifully, featuring a zipper on the side. Its red waist section is decorated with black bobbin lace, rickrack trim, and velvet ribbon. At the bottom of the black péntő (petticoat element), above the lace edging, our small red Csángó tulips bloom. On the front of the rokolla (upper skirt) black Csángó flowers open, and its hem is bordered by beautiful, fine cotton lace scattered with roses. A special, richly crafted piece.
