“Flowers of Sárköz” Juliet blouse, red-black-white

A beautiful cotton blouse with a distinctive Renaissance-style “Juliet” neckline. It’s decorated with cotton lace from Transylvania and a meaningful, traditional Sárköz folk pattern, with delicate details repeated on the sleeves as well. For years, we’ve had a stunning hand-embroidered pillow from Sárköz in our bedroom, inherited from a family legacy. We completely fell in love with its motifs and their layered symbolism. This blouse was inspired by that piece.

The sleeves have a special, “princess-like” design that recalls the Middle Ages. The cut lines of the top were inspired by another historical period.

The pattern was hand screen-printed in red and black, then heat-set at high temperature for long-lasting colour. Machine washable.
