Our home is in the rolling hills of Zala, in Göcsej, a land with the scent of forests, streams and mushrooms, that is famous for its wooden belfries.

It has a history that goes back hundreds of years, speaking the language of the local people, telling their stories, and reflecting their spirit. This top is made from 100% genuine cotton with an elasticated, gathered neckline and sleeves. The neckline ties with a silk ribbon. It’s slightly fitted, and micro-ruffled at the bottom using thread matching the colour of the embroidery. Its ornament is the “Radiant Zala”, our beloved white embroidery; the rose pattern border on the front is over 150 years old, taken from the edge of a bedsheet that was part of a wedding dowry.

A small detail of the pattern is repeated on the sleeves. The densely embroidered pattern is made with colourfast silk thread. Machine washable.
